Highest finish ever for Regiment at No Borders

Congratulations to Regiment on its highest finish in a national-level tournament recently!

The province’s travelling open division team, made up of players from UNL, placed sixth at No Borders, July 21-22 in Ottawa. It was Regiment’s first tournament of the competitive season.

Key highlights for Regiment included wins over NSOM, the 2017 Masters Open winner, and Grand Trunk, 2016 CUC champs, and taking Phoenix, the eventual tournament winner (for the eighth time!), to universe point.

Regiment was seeded eighth out of 23 teams going into the tournament.

Regiment took 17 players to No Borders, including rookies Robbie Flemming and Brody McKeown. The team is captained by Nick House, Craig Stoyles and Paolo Mascarin with Luke Dyer as spirit captain.

Regiment will next compete at the Canadian Ultimate Championships in August.
