FOA wins 10th Flaherty Cup in MZU Summer League

After a close first half, FOA pulled away from Blackhorse to win the championship game in the MZU summer league. This is FOA’s eleventh total Flaherty Cup, with the last ten being consecutive.
From FOA’s captain, Paolo Mascarin: “We are so appreciative of all those that organize the leagues, and all those that have helped propel the sport of ultimate forward in Newfoundland and Labrador. As I think back to FOA’s first Flaherty Cup in 2006, I would have never expected the sport of ultimate and its players to have evolved into the high level it is today. FOA looks forward to next summer, and many thereafter”.
