Ultimate NL Annual General Meeting Notice

We are excited to announce that Ultimate NL will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, starting at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Swilers Rugby Club (Banquet Room). We invite all UNL community members, including players and league representatives to join us for this important event.

Why Attend?

The AGM is a great opportunity for reflecting on UNL’s achievements over the past year, share insights into our ongoing projects, and discuss our strategic direction for the future. Participation by UNL community members is important. We value your input in shaping Ultimate frisbee in Newfoundland and Labrador.

  • Overview of Ultimate NL’s accomplishments
  • Financial report and organizational updates
  • Discussion on upcoming projects and initiatives
  • Open forum for questions and feedback

Who Can Participate?

Everyone interested in the growth of Ultimate in the province is welcome to attend. Only current Ultimate NL members may vote or run for a position on the board. A current member is anyone who has played in a league, under the umbrella of Ultimate NL, since the last AGM, including the fall of 2025.

Can’t attend?

You can still participate by assigning your vote to another current Ultimate NL member/player. Proxy forms are available here. All proxy forms must be received by NOON October 28, 2026. You can email your proxy form to technicaldirector@ultimatenl.ca.

All current Ultimate NL members are eligible to run for a position on the board. The available positions are:

  • President
  • Vice-president
  • Finance director
  • Communications director
  • Sport development director
  • Youth grade school director
  • Youth performance and development director
  • Community outreach director
  • Events director
  • Youth programming Director
  • Member-At-Large
