Tempest competes at first U.S. tournament

Tempest recently turned heads stateside by placing fifth in the women’s classic division and 17th overall at the 2018 Boston Invite.
The province’s travelling competitive team for women took part in the tournament for the first time this year, which was held June 23-24.
Tempest finished 2-1 on Day 1 of competition:

On Day 2, the team also delivered two wins and a loss:

This was the first Tempest tournament for five rookies (Anna Stevens, Gina Reid, Grace Clarke, Kat White and Ashleigh Hudson) as well as coach Patrick Snow, who took over the role in the fall. The team is captained by Jessica Wade, Melissa Wheeler and Jill Henderson.
They’ll next compete at No Borders, July 21-22 in Ottawa.
