No Borders Results – Tempest

The ladies from Tempest (the Women’s team that represented NL at No Borders in Ottawa recently) had a pretty good weekend at the tournament. They sent four rookies to the tournament, along with many veterans, and despite incredible heat, managed to go 2-2 on their first day, keeping them in the top 8 bracket.

Day two saw Tempest playing against some of the best Women’s teams around, and they held their own! Hard fought games were played, but Ultimately (hehe), Tempest was unable to secure a victory in their second day. The team placed 8th overall, and definitely earned their spot in the top 8 bracket. Well done ladies!
