MZU offering indoor and outdoor fall leagues
Members looking for more ultimate have two options for co-ed play this fall.
Mile Zero Ultimate (MZU) is offering both an outdoor hat league and an indoor build-it-yourself (BIY) league.
Fall Outdoor Hat League
Registration is open until Wednesday, Sept. 5. The league will take place on Sunday nights from Sept. 9-Nov. 4.
Players who are new to the league, or whose first league was in the Capital Subaru Summer League, receive a $10 discount on the registration fee. Players may sign up alone or with a partner.
New to this league is the implementation of the WFDF Ratio Rule A, which alternates the gender ratio every second point so that players of all genders receive equal play.
Fall Indoor BIY League
MZU is now taking expressions of interest from interested teams. Captains must submit EOIs by Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
The BIY league has space for 24 teams. If there is interest from more than 24 teams, a lottery will be held to see which teams gain entry.
Individual players looking for a team, or teams looking for players, may use this matchmaking form to join a team or complete a roster.
The league will run on Monday nights from Sept. 24-Dec. 17.
