Mile Zero Ultimate (MZU) has launched a new master’s division for its annual outdoor fall league.

The master’s division is for players ages 35-plus as of Dec. 31, 2019. Regular fall league is open to ages 18 and over.

“Mile Zero Ultimate has always been committed to providing league offerings that are enjoyable and that meet the needs of our members. In response to several requests from the membership, we have decided to run a master’s division in our Fall Outdoor Hat league,” said Allan Johnson, president of MZU.

Players in the master’s age bracket may register for only the master’s division, or in both divisions for extra play.

MZU’s fall outdoor hat league will run on Sunday evenings from Sept. 8-Oct. 27. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and individuals may register solo or with a friend.

“We hope to see our regular players embrace this new format, but are hopeful that it will also provide players who have never played ultimate before with a less intimidating entry point into the league,” Johnson said.
