Former Tempest Coach Wins Spirit Award at PAUCC

Keith Krieger, the long time coach of the NL women’s travelling team, Tempest, was a part of the team that won the spirt team prize in the masters division at PAUCCs. Keith was playing with Carbon, a team from BC where he lives now, after moving home after a roughly ten year stint in St.John’s (with his wife Suzy Stever – former Ultimate NL President). Keith was a long time integral member of the ultimate community and really helped evolve and grow both MAUL and Tempest. He will be sorely missed for his dedication for pushing the sport of ultimate in NL on the competitive side. Also of note is that former Ultimate NL president Johnny Bryne who now also lives in Edmonton played on this team as well!
