Board members needed for two volunteer positions

Ultimate NL is on the lookout for two passionate volunteers to join our 2025-2026 board of directors as Vice President and Youth Performance and Development Director.

Vice President

This board member acts as the primary administrator and liaison as one of the organization’s executives in partnership with UNL’s president and finance director. As vice president, you will:

• Record and keep, and distribute the minutes of all meetings
• Produce an agenda for each board meeting prior to the meetings
• Maintain records of all voting items
• Provide notice of Board meetings to the Directors
• Provide notice of all general meetings to members of the organization
• Act as one of the signing authorities of the organization

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing leadership with regards to policy and governance to help monitor the progress of the organization’s goals. An ability to work well with others is key, as are organizational and communication skills.

Youth Performance and Development Director

This board member acts as the lead coordinator for youth ultimate player development and management of provincial junior youth teams of our province. As the Youth Performance and Development Director, you will:

• Oversee the development of provincial youth teams
• Organize and direct youth leagues in the province
• Plan youth performance and development-based clinics throughout the year
• Develop and organize the junior open and women’s provincial ultimate team (Storm) Promote and facilitate the growth of ultimate across the province

The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and enhancing existing youth programs to improve the long-term athlete development pathways to support youth progression to elite levels. An ability to work well with others is key, as are organizational and communication skills.
