Youth League

Ultimate Newfoundland and Labrador offers youth programming to learn and play Ultimate frisbee in St. John’s. Our Youth Ultimate Frisbee Programs are for athletes from 8 to 18 years of age of all skills levels. Our programs help to foster teamwork, sportsmanship (called spirit of the game in Ultimate), skill development, and playing with friends or making new ones.
Program Highlights
- Skill Development: Our experienced coaches focus on teaching fundamental skills, including throwing, catching, and strategic gameplay, ensuring every participant improves their abilities.
- Inclusive Environment: We welcome players of all backgrounds and skill levels. Our goal is to create a supportive community where everyone can thrive.
- Fun and Engaging: Through games, drills, and friendly competitions, our programs make learning about the sport of Ultimate frisbee enjoyable. Our sessions are designed to keep participants active and engaged.
- Spirit of the Game (SOTG): Ultimate Frisbee promotes learning about the “Spirit of the Game”, a core principle of the sport which emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. We encourage players to uphold these values both on and off the field.
