New Ultimate NL board elected

Ultimate NL’s 2018-2019 board of directors.

A new board of directors for Ultimate NL was voted in at its annual general meeting (AGM) on Oct. 2.

Following a successful bylaw amendment to revamp available board positions, the following people were elected:

President: Nick House
Vice-president: Melissa Wheeler
Chief financial officer: Sarah Hoddinott
Communications director: Susan White
Youth school director: Hilary Walsh
Youth development and competition director: Luke Dyer
Tournament and events director: Erin Daly
Sport development director: Kathleen Sullivan
Volunteer and outreach director: Mark Kavanagh
Member at large: Yolanda Kuai

Representatives of Mile Zero Ultimate (MZU), St. John’s Women’s Ultimate Recreational League (SWURL) and Men’s Avalon Ultimate League (MAUL), as assigned by those leagues, are:

SWURL rep: Hilary Walsh
MAUL rep: Nick House
