Ultimate Newfoundland and Labrador AGM scheduled for Nov. 2nd

Ultimate NL will hold its annual general meeting on Thursday, November 2nd from 7-9 p.m. at the St. John’s Elks Club (19 Carpasian Road).

What to expect

Board members will share details of their work over the past year, discuss goals and priorities going forward and a new board of directors will be elected.

All current Ultimate NL members are eligible to run for a position on the board. The available positions are:

  • President
  • Vice-president
  • Finance director
  • Communications director
  • Sport development director
  • Youth grade school director
  • Youth performance and development director
  • Community outreach director
  • Events director
  • Member at large

Why should you attend?

The AGM is an opportunity to hear about the growth of ultimate in Newfoundland and Labrador. You’ll hear updates about tournaments, camps, youth development, school sports, communications, and everything else the board has been up to.

It’s also your opportunity to let the board know what’s important to you as ultimate grows in the province. We want to hear from you!

Who can participate?

Anyone interested in the growth of ultimate in the province may attend the AGM. Only current Ultimate NL members may vote or run for a position on the board.

A current member is anyone who has played in a league, under the umbrella of Ultimate NL, since the last AGM, including the fall of 2022.

Can’t attend? 

You can still run for a board position and vote on motions by assigning your vote to another current Ultimate NL player. Proxy forms are available here. All proxy forms must be received by NOON on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
