Fall youth leagues

Registration for fall leagues is underway for elementary, junior high and senior high players. All three leagues will run from Oct. 6-Nov. 24 at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre’s PowerPlex gymnasium (90 Crosbie Rd.) in St. John’s.

Summer clinics double outreach

Ultimate NL’s summer clinics programs doubled the number of kids reached this year. Summer clinics co-ordinator Annika Bieger led 46 clinics involving 1,185 participants from June 16-Sept. 4.

Storm junior women second in spirit at nationals

Newfoundland and Labrador’s junior women placed second in spirit at the Canadian Ultimate Championships’ Junior Division this summer. The squad’s spirit captain, Zoe Baker Pike, was also ranked among the top spirit captains in the tournament.
