Congratulations to the Cherry Blasters on winning the 2018 Men’s Avalon Ultimate League (MAUL) summer championship!
The Cherry Blasters topped the Jaw Breakers for the first time this season to win the title on Aug. 6. The Swedish Fish also defeated the Jolly Ranchers for third place.
MAUL’s summer league sold out this year with 60 participants comprising four teams.
Cameron Penney was the winning team’s most valuable player (MVP) and league president Nick House was the most spirited man on the winning side.
Brandon Kilfoy garnered the most votes for regular season MVP and Andy Porter was named Comeback Player of the Year.
